When you understand current market conditions, you are better able to position yourself as an informed buyer. It helps to know if you are in a Seller's, Buyer's or Balanced market when determining your offer price. In our current Buyer's market, inventories are starting to grow, and as a Buyer, you have more choices, and perhaps more room to negotiate with your offer price.
You will also learn that you have to act quickly when you find a property that is priced right and shows well or you could lose it to another buyer. This is sometimes an unfortunate learning experience many buyers realize only after losing a property they loved. I try to keep you informed of the current market without pressuring you. Help You Get Pre-Qualified
This should be your first step in the home buying process and can be done over the telephone for free. You'll find out exactly how much you can afford. You can call your own bank, savings and loan or mortgage broker or I can provide you with a lender that I have used and trust completely.
Determine Your Wants and Needs
This is a very important step. By asking you a series of questions I will establish what you are looking for. My goal is to not waste your time by looking at properties that are not in your price range or homes that don't meet your needs. Throughout the buying process I will maintain your confidentiality and represent your best interests. I will give you full Buyer Representation.
I will use every available method to locate a property that matches your search parameters. This will include properties listed with my office and offered through other real estate companies. I will disclose all known facts about the property that are likely to affect your decision. When we find the home that meets your criteria, I will work with you in writing an offer and act as your representative. I will continue working with you, the seller's agent and the financial institution to get your purchase closed.
